The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies were established in 1990 as the first iteration of the Cincinnati Cyclones, who became the then latest version of the Birmingham Bulls in 1992. In 2001, the made their way to New Jersey, playing their home games in historic Boardwalk Hall. The team won the Kelly Cup in 2003, but only drew an average of 3,000 fans per game. In 2005, they loaded up the trucks and moved clean to California where they became the Stockton Thunder. In 2015, they moved back East and became the Adirondack Thunder.
